Our weekly 5k runs meet at Ironsides Bar & Grill, 25 Park Street, Charlestown, MA at 7pm. These fun runs are free for members and first time runners, all others pay a $5 fee. Click here for a map of our weekly run.

Weekly long runs starting and ending at Zume's Coffee House. We will provide a water stop, mileage charts and the opportunity to run longer distances with the club.

Welcome to the Club

Whether you run 5-minute miles or 5-hour marathons . . . whether you are training for your first 5-K or for a Boston Marathon qualifier . . . Revolutionary Running Club can help you achieve your goals and make new friends.

Based in Charlestown, Revolutionary Running Club was founded by two experienced local marathon coaches who realized running can be a lonely sport. Local running Coach Kelly Flynn formed the club with the goal of connecting like-minded runners throughout the Greater Boston area who wanted to get more out of their runs while enjoying the social aspects of the sport.

Weekly runs depart from Ironsides Bar & Grill take club members past Charlestown’s historic monuments, including the USS Constitution. Longer, organized group runs take runners out along the Charles River. Kelly and Dan have trained hundreds of runners to compete in marathons and half marathons and can help tailor a program to meet your goals, whether you’re an absolute beginner looking to finish a 5k, or a seasoned marathoner looking to set a personal record.

Joining the club helps runners complete their runs safely and stay motivated. It’s much easier to head out the door for that long run when you know you’ll be meeting friends. Running with trained coaches can also help you improve your form, which prevents injuries and improves your race times. The club also offers a weekly track work-out, seasonal fun runs and club-sponsored road races.

All of our events, as well as member accomplishments and benefits, are highlighted and in our monthly newsletter and on our Web site at www.revolutionaryrunningcompany.com. And we don’t forget the social side of running, with post-race get-togethers at local restaurants and pubs, monthly meetings, and the annual club banquet.
